You're going on a trip, want to carry little weight and are looking for a sleeping bag with some extra length. Then the NOMAD® Orion 290 XL is the ideal sleeping bag for you! This extra-long, lightweight two-season mummy sleeping bag only weighs 640 grams and thanks to its compact packed size you can easily take it with you in your backpack. Ideal for backpacking travels, long distance hikes or bicycle rides where every gram counts. This sleeping bag is intended for taller and broader people. The extra 20 centimetres of length and 5 centimetres of width offers ample room to sleep comfortably. This sleeping bag is made of super-light, breathable polyester which feels soft and airy on the skin, even during warmer nights. The Orion 290 XL is filled with a mixture of water-repellent down and synthetic hollow fibre, ensuring outstanding warmth and comfort. We know that it's usually the arms and feet that get cold fastest when you lie still for a night. Therefore, we have added extra insulation in the chest area of this sleeping bag, as well as a '3D foot box' structure to keep your feet warm. The Orion 290 XL comes with a comfortable hood which can be tightened around your head with a pull cord to retain warmth. It also has a handy 2-way zipper with a length of 155 centimetres that can be opened from both ends; this can be useful when you need some fresh air around your legs on warmer nights for example. Inside the sleeping bag you'll find a pocket for storing small, valuable belongings that you want to keep close while you sleep. Want to get out of your sleeping bag at night? No problem - you'll always be able to find your zipper thanks to the glow-in-the-dark zipper puller. The Orion 290 XL is finished with a PFC-free coating, giving it water-repellent properties without the use of harmful chemicals. The lining has been treated with Polygiene Stays Fresh® technology. This antibacterial treatment ensures that the sleeping bag remains fresh and free from odours on a long term. It also means the sleeping bag doesn't have to be washed as frequently. Want to air out your Orion 290 XL after use? This can easily be done by hanging it on the suspension loops at the bottom of the sleeping bag. You can pack the sleeping bag very compactly by using the supplied compression stuffsack. To store the sleeping bag for a longer period, use the roomy, breathable mesh storage bag. This is recommended to keep the filling from clumping together, resulting in a less effective insulation. The recommended maximum body length for this sleeping bag is 200 centimetres.
